Is anyone else dealing with United Collection Bureau? They've been calling me nonstop, sometimes as early as 7:30 AM and as late as 9:30 PM, which I'm pretty sure isn't allowed. The caller is rude and uses a threatening tone, hinting at lawsuits and wage garnishment if I don't pay immediately.
The worst part is, they haven't sent me anything in writing to validate this supposed debt. I looked into it, and I think that's actually a violation of my rights. I also read that they aren't supposed to discuss this with anyone else, but I'm worried they might try contacting my work since they have my number.
